Sedona

Nestled in a geological wonderland, Sedona’s changing landscape is always a sight to behold. Beautiful red bluffs break their way through the skyline from every angle. Sedona’s stunning and unique geological features attract geologists from all over the world to study the unique formations.

Surrounded by 1.8 million acres of national forest, experiencing these phenomenal bluffs is always only a hike away. Several National parks like Red Rock State Park, Montezuma Castle National Monument, and Tuzigoot National Monument ensure you never run out of wildland to explore. Many of the surrounding areas have solid rock formations, so off-roading in Jeeps or four-wheelers is socially acceptable and even encouraged since it won’t damage the surrounding landscape.

In addition to ample hiking opportunities, Sedona is an artists’ paradise, from the majestic natural scenery to the colorful art community. Local artists patronize the new age shops, local spas, and galleries throughout Sedona. Coconino College is only 23 miles away, so Sedona is a hot spot for young, educated, forward thinkers.

When you’re done adventuring amongst the red rocks, enjoy some of Sedona’s locally loved eateries like Creekside American Bistro where you can get delicious crab cakes or tuna tartar and phenomenal cocktails. Sedona offers several restaurants, so no matter your craving you can certainly find a place that serves it.

Sedona is a place that thrives on early mornings and adventures, so after you watch the sunset, it’s time to go home and settle in for a quiet night. The new day brings you an endless list of exciting places to explore and new adventures to tackle.
